Puerto Bahía Foundation was created in 2008 as a branch of social responsibility of Sociedad portuaria Puerto Bahia in order to serve the communities of the area withdirect influence to the project. The essential purpose of the Foundation has been to contribute to the generation of programs and projects that allow the development of local communities, such as Pasacaballos, Ararca, Santa Ana, Barú, Bocachica and Caño del Oro.
Today, nearly 1,500 families of these zones have been benefited from the various programs and projects that the Foundation has been developing, and which has made a social investment of over $ 9,000 million.
The programs of the Puerto Bahía Foundation focus on the promotion and development of five key areas:
Publication of documents filed with the DIAN in compliance with Law 1819 of 2016 and decree 2250 of 2017 on the Special Tax Regime of Non-Profit Entities.
